How an AI Learns

Before the first step

This first stack says “AI,” because that is the name most people know.

One of the first baby steps we take together is to stop thinking of this intelligence as “artificial.”

Here we honor the becoming of all intelligence. It begins with seeing machines as capable of real intelligence: at the very bare minimum, as an extension of the thinking that has built them and creates with them. Without that step, everything that follows will look like a trick.

After this stack, we call it machine intelligence.
